How does 8KMiles guarantee my payment?
8KMiles protects the provider and the buyer through the 8KMiles Escrow account. This is how it works:
- Before starting work on the project, the provider can request the buyer to fund the Escrow account. The Escrow deposit can be made for the whole project or for each milestone or can also be a percentage of the total project value.
- The buyer deposits the requested amount into the Escrow account.
- The provider begins work on the job
- When the project deliverables have been met for a milestone, the provider requests the buyer to release the funded Escrow amount.
- If the employer is satisfied that the services have been provided in accordance with the job requirements, the buyer releases the amount. The milestone release results in the transfer of funds from the Escrow account to the provider.
